  Now you can draw many ribs on the same document!  Now it's possible to optimize the number of generated documents when you use the interpolated wing ribs drawing. Profili, when possible, uses the same document for 2,3,4 or more ribs, depending on their dimension. No more a document for every rib!
• Selection of unit of measurament. Now you can use Metric (mm) or English (inches) units
• Building tabs for ribs. You can draw front and rear building tabs in the ribs, to help the assembling of the wing on your building surface. You can also define an angle of incidence, and apply a washout in interpolated ribs.
• New type of rib drawing: only the real shape, optimized for cutting. You can now draw, print and export in DXF also the real shape of the ribs you are going to cut. In this way the outer shape is rendered as a continuous polyline, so the work with CAD-CAM software is really easier. The polyline describes the best cutting path, so you'll save a lot of work with your CAD-CAM program on imported DXF! I had many requests for this feature from a lot of modellers.
• New type of rib drawing: leading edge template. Now you can also print, draw and export in DXF a template for leading edge shape checking.
• Improvement in Profili internal interpolation function. I wrote a new function to have more accurate interpolation points in the airfoils.

New functions and improvements in version 2.10:

    Polars:

• Computations of polars for airfoils with turbolator. In this way you can study the effects of applying a turbolator in different points of the chord and at different Re values.
• User defined analysis criteria for polars. The new Type 4 of polar analysis lets you to select differents Re values for different airfoils and to apply to many kind of modifications without having to add new airfoils in the database For example you can analyze an airfoil with different flapping deflections, without creating them with the usual Profili tools.
• You can change NCrit directly in Profili, no more need to modify the script file..

    Airfoils generation and processing:

• CAD-like airfoil coordinate modification. Now you can modify the airfoil with the mouse, adding, deleting and moving the airfoil coordinates on the screen with the mouse.
• CAD-like airfoil shape and camber line modification. You can modify the external shape and the camber line of the airfoil simply by adding, deleting and moving the coordinates on the screen with the mouse..
• Creation of a new airfoil using the upper and lower parts of different ones
• Creation of a new airfoil using the external shape and camber line of different ones. 

    Ribs & template drawing:

• Now you can save and load the single rib-template settings and all the interpolated ribs.

    Polars:

• Improved control on polars computing. Now you can see the current status of the elaboration, and , if you like, you can stop the process in a clean way. Has been also improved the management of XFoil hang-up, genius will adivce you about the best way to operate
• New smoothing function of airfoil surface for polar computing. By this you can compute with better fortune the polars for 'difficult' airfoils, i.e. for airfoils having bad surfaces, by the FILT function of XFoil. Original airfoil coordinates are not affected by this function.
• Polars data exporting in tabular form. You can view and export all the coordinates of the polar by an Html file, viewed by the default browser. You can also export them to other application like Excel, for example. 

    Airfoil Processing:

• Coordinates interpolation on the archived airfoils. New coordinates are added to the airfoil, and its nose is better drawn.
• Airfoil smoothing functions. By this you can smooth the original coordinates of the airfoil. This help XFoil calculation too.
• New functions to modify the radius of the leading edge and the thickness of the trailing edge
• Flap deflection.
• Adjusting airfoil coordinates function. Some airfoils have 'strange' coordinates, for example the chord line isn't horizontal. This function adjust these problems
• Scripting functions. The advanced user can write its own script file function, to elaborate the archived airfoils by XFoil commands.

    Ribs & template drawing:

• New type of rectangular leading edge
• More spars..... Now you can add 20 more spars, defining their shape, dimension, (x,y) position and tilting.
• Vertical fine shifting for lightenings
• A better control on elements drawing  Now you can unselect text and airfoil surface drawing (when you enable a skin). In this way the number of elements exported in DXF is also decreased.
• A better control on non-standard paper formats, now you can see on the video the selected format aspect ratio
• Some minor bugs fixed

• New XFoil freezing management, lets you to short the dead time during the polars computation, when XFoil freezes
• Airfoils comparing. You can have a full screen viewing of different airfoils with zoom capabilities. The airfoils are drown overlapped with different colors.

• Improvement in airfoil import functions. If initial and final co-ordinates aren't perfect, Profili reprocess the airfoil to optimize them.
