In this page are listed all the available versions of Profili.
For every version you will see a brief description and some typical case of use.
You can find a full comparative table of versions Vs features at the Features by version page.

Profili - base version
This is the base version of the application Profili.
Profili is the entry level version of the Profili family,
including Profili, Profili XP e Profili Pro.
It includes the most used functions for a hobbyist modeller, going to build rather simple airplane models.
A full collection of airfoils is included, and you can print and export to DXF simple ribs, loft of ribs and foam cutting templates.
Some functions to create, modify, import and analyse airfoils are also included. Too have a full list of the embedded functions see the Features by version page.
It includes the most used functions for a hobbyist modeller, going to build rather simple airplane models.

Profili XT
This is the intermediate version of the application Profili.
Profili XT is the intermediate
version of the Profili family, including Profili, Profili XP e Profili Pro.
It includes all the functions of Profili, and adds:
- Printing and DXF esporting from the Wing panel feature.
- Three more functions to generate new airfoils, click here to see them
Se also the sections Ribbed Wing panels and Foam Wing panels. This version is suggested to modellers going to build more sophisticated airplane models.

- Printing and DXF esporting from the Wing panel feature.

- Generate a mix of two airfoils using different FRONT-REAR mix values.
- Generate a new airfoils using UPPER/LOWER parts as a MIX of different ones.
- Generate a new airfoil using external SHAPE and CAMBER line as a MIX of different airfoils.

Profili Pro
The full featured version of Profili
Profili Pro is
the full featured version of the Profili family, including
Profili, Profili XP e Profili Pro.
It includes all the functions of Profili XT, and adds:
- creation of cutting files for 3 axys CNC milling machines
- creation of cutting files for 4 axys CNC foam cutting machines
- creation of STL files of wing panel molds
- a full featured series of airfoil analysis functions, click here for a brief list
- new functions to modify and improve airfoils performance, click here for more info

- Deleted the -8 ~ +13 degrees range limit in Alpha
- A lower step for Alpha is accepted.
- New 'Power Factor' and Xtr top and button graphs included in polar analysis.
- NCrit e Mach number management on polar analysis, including these parameters in the polar db.
- Direct management for NCrit e Mach number in type 4 polar analysis.
- You can redefine the default values of Re number.
- Full management of airfoils and polars libraries. Now you can create, modify, delete, clone libraries, and copy-move airfoils and polars.

Now, included in the Pro package, you can find 5 libraries, all containing more
then 2.300 airfoil:
- A library with precomputed polars with NCrit = 6.
- A library with precomputed polars with NCrit = 9.
- A library with precomputed polars with NCrit = 11.
- A library with precomputed polars with NCrit = 13.
- Full graphical managements of the functions MDES, GDES, QDES and PPAR of XFoil.
- A new function to evaluate the external roughness of the airfoil, and two function to smooth it.

DevFus
An application to draw and build fuselages
devFus is our innovative application to draw
fuselages and other similar parts
The application is easy to use and no Cad skills are required.
A wizard will manage the creation and modification stage of the fuselage, using a step by step approach.
A 3D preview (see picture) is included to check the actual stage of the project.
Very complex shapes can be created, not only simple circular or squared section as other applications do...

DevCad
A 2D full featured Cad and Cam application
Using devCad you can create the full drawing of all the parts
of an airplane modell, importing parts from Profili (wing parts) and from
devFus (fuselage parts).
You can the draw all the remaining parts, or inserting them from the parts library supplied with devCad.
